Many of you are really missing out on your regular facial.  Until we get to reopen here are a few tips to carry out a facial in the comfort of your own home.  I’ve chosen the Guinot Essential Facial as it’s the easiest facial to do at home delivering the quickest results.

Cleansing your skin is the first step in skincare.  The skin needs to be thoroughly cleansed to rid it of impurities and prepare the skin for the next step.  Wash off or remove with damp cotton wool.  Guinto’s Lait Hydra Confort for dry skin or Lait Hydra Fraicheur for all skin types. Dry skin before exfoliating.

Using an exfoliator is an essential step in any beauty care routine.  It helps rid the skin of dead cells that accumulate on the surface and prevent it from breathing.  The face glows with a new radiance in no time at all.  There are two types of exfoliators-  you can choose between the Gommage Biologique for sensitive skin or Gommage Eclat Parfait with grains for all skin types.  Apply to a dry skin and work into the skin for a few minutes before removing with a warm facecloth or warm sponges and pat dry.

My favourite mask of all time has to be Masque Essential Nutrition Confort, it contains essential oils, including lavender, to revive the skin’s radiance. (use this mask twice a week for two weeks and your skin will see a noticeable difference).  Apply the mask all over the face and neck in a thin layer and leave for 10 to 20 minutes.  Wash off and pat the skin dry.

Tone with Lotion Hydra Confort for dry skin or Lotion Hydra Fraicheur for all skin types.  Pat dry and follow with your favourite moisturiser depending on whether you do this at morning or night.  At morning, apply a serum followed by Creme Hydra Finish a complexion enhancing moisturiser with an SPF of 15 or in the evening use Creme Rich Fermete Lift for a firming and renewing effect or Creme Rich Vital Antirides for wrinkle prone skin.
